A vision is born
Welcome to the beginning of something truly special. The “Art of International Hospitality” started almost serendipitously—a simple idea for a panel discussion submitted to Bar Convent Brooklyn 2024 that, to our delight, was accepted. This panel, “Mixing Cultures: The Art of International Hospitality,” marks the inception of a project that is growing into a movement.
As we prepared to bring this idea to life on stage, something remarkable happened. The enthusiasm and support from people within the industry were overwhelming. It became clear that this wasn’t just going to be another panel discussion. It was the spark for something much larger—a conversation that needed a broader platform and a community that extended beyond the confines of a single event.
Driven by the momentum, we took proactive steps. We began with deep preparation, not just to discuss but to ignite action and continued engagement. We built a modest website that could become a central hub for resources, connections, and future plans. This digital space is where our daydreams of creating a global community started to take shape, where the concept of international hospitality could be explored and expanded by professionals from around the world.
Now, we stand at the threshold of possibility. The world is indeed our playground, and this project is our invitation to you to come and play, learn, and grow with us. I wasn’t always in New York running my own agency. I started as a bartender in Italy, and believe it or not, I moved to the US for love, not a job!
